Rental Administrator

Job Description: Rental Administrator

We are looking for a Rental Administrator to manage a property portfolio on behalf of a group of our clients / investors. The successful candidate will mostly manage the letting portfolio by attending inspections where applicable, collect outstanding rental & utilities (if & when required), perform a variety of administrative tasks and any other related tasks relating to the letting of residential properties.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience in residential property rentals and NQF4 Real Estate will be advantageous but not a requirement for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Letting & Administration of rental units
  • Collection of arrears rental & utilities
  • Administration of maintenance at rental units
  • Other relevant administration, incl. inspections at units, general correspondence, deposit refunds, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Position Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Marketing skills
  • Computer literate
  • Driver’s licence (preferably manual)
  • Excellent Telephone skills
  • Fluently bilingual (Afrikaans & English) – Speak, read & write
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Presentable and neat appearance
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required

Divisional Financial Manager

Job Description: Divisional Financial Manager

We are looking for a Divisional Financial Manager to join our Corporate Division.

As a successful Financial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting function of specific group companies. You will be involved in the day-today management of the company, monitoring cash flow, the compilation of management accounts as well as annual financial statements.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience in residential property rentals and NQF4 Real Estate will be advantageous but not a requirement for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of annual financial statements
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly Management Accounts
  • Reporting to top management on variances and implementation of cost saving initiatives
  • Submission of provisional tax payments
  • Submission of income tax
  • Monthly reconciliation and submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of annual budgets
  • Cashflow management and reviewing of daily payments
  • Managing of junior staff

Position Requirements

  • Relevant Finance Degree or Diploma
  • 5 years’ experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in all aspects of financial reporting
  • Draftworx experience will be beneficial
  • Sound understanding of tax and management accounts
  • Proven, effective people leadership skills and experience
  • Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and deliver quality outputs
  • Strong service delivery ethic, with proven action orientation and timely adherence to deadlines under high pressure
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Willingness to travel as needed
